Description

Using provider data, you will develop, automate and visually present reports that drive strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

Your report design allows for quick digestion of the data story. You have the ability to not just pull a data report on list criterion, but actively participate and collaborate with business partners to develop the right solutions to business problems. You have interpreted reporting criteria/guidance and applied it to reporting objectives and internal data sources. Accuracy and attention to detail go with your internal drive to solve complex data issues.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of technical experience in data reporting (Provider Healthcare Data)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
A t least 3 years of experience working with big and complex data sets within large healthcare organization and/or the analysis of provider Health plan data
Clear verbal and written communication to senior leadership
Strong organizational skills
Ability to independently manage multiple or competing priorities with unpredictable timeframes
Analytical mindset, with a strong attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Advanced proficiency in SSIS, experience automating ETL processes
Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
A dedicated home office space, with a locked door, lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Experience with Power BI for creating data visualizations
Experience with Provider Health plan or Health Group Data
Experience with Medicaid and working within state contractual requirements
