Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
The candidate should have strong real estate experience. Must be able to hit the ground running and manage the full spectrum of real estate paralegal responsibilities related to complex commercial real estate transactions. Preferred experience includes: organizing and coordinating commercial real estate closings; preparing closing checklists and timelines; preparing closing binders; coordinating loan documentation; reviewing surveys, leases, rent rolls, and other due diligence materials; drafting title objection letters, clearing title requirements and resolving title defects; preparing real estate contracts, closing statements and closing documents; and generally managing transactions from contract to closing, including entity formation, UCC searches and corporate certificates/authorizing resolutions. 5+ years of real estate experience required. Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate highly preferred. Prior successful experience at a boutique real estate law firm, a real estate development company, in the real estate department of a large company, or in the real estate practice group of a full-service law firm required. Outstanding references required. Residential closing experience and portable business preferred.
