Sr Cognos Developer
Cary, NC
Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems; Software Engineering; Computer Applications is desired
* 3 years experience working with Cognos
Report Studio, Query Studio, Event Studio, Scheduling reports, creating drill through, report bursting, etc.
* 2-3 years of experience with Cognos
8.4/10 Framework Manager Modeling.
* Experience working with Transformer model to work with multidimensional power play cubes
* Experience in designing scorecards and dashboards .
* Good knowledge over trouble shooting and problem solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
* Ability to collaborate with diverse set of business users
* Experience with Oracle 10/11g or SQL server
* Experience with Teradata is a plus
* Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
* Experience in conducting requirements gathering sessions and brainstorming workshops.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, and curious about learning the business.
* Experience with dimensional modeling including facts and dimensions, star and snowflake schemas, and OLAP tools and techniques.
