Associate General Counsel, Employment Law
Duties: Serve as an associate general counsel, employment law attorney within the firm’s legal department, including providing employment law support to clients across the firm on a market, account-aligned basis. Support the Corporate Investigations group by directing internal employment, equal employment opportunity (EEO) investigations conducted by the employee relations team. Support management and human resources professionals with business-oriented legal counsel on all aspects of employment-related advice, including issues related to Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Service Contract Act (SCA), all other federal and state employment laws, internal employment law, EEO investigations, and day-to-day employment matters, such as non-compete agreements, high-risk performance management issues, military, and medical leaves and accommodations. Counsel the firm on enterprise-wide issues, including regulatory changes and corporate policy and practice implications. Represent the firm before federal and state agencies in agency audits in administrative charges, including preparing position statements and manage outside counsel in employment litigation matters.
