Caregiver/CNA - Weekend Pay Differential

Profile

In this position, you will be caring for an aging, ill, or disabled individual. The majority of your work will take place inside the home of the client. Potential responsibilities include:
· Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions; shopping or running errands may be required
· Perform light housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, laundry, making and changing the bed, doing dishes, and cleaning the bathroom
· Provide companionship which may include accompanying the client on walks, errands, trips to social and recreational activities, and assistance with their hobbies
· If qualified, you may provide some assistance with personal care such as assisting the client with personal tasks in the bathroom
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
· Must have a valid driver’s license and an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
· Pass a written competency evaluation and a nationwide background check
· 1 year of experience as a caregiver/home health aide in healthcare is preferred, not required
