Intellectual Property Patent Agent
The candidate will report to the VP, Innovations. Will be involved in the development and implementation of strategies to secure and protect firm's intellectual property. Develop strategies for and conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses. Analyze patent and scientific papers and documents to assist with patent prosecution and litigation. Work with scientists to capture innovations; review and analyze invention disclosures. Work closely with scientists to draft and prosecute high quality patent applications. Assist with patent enforcement and/or challenge proceedings. Assist with the development and management of firm's global patent portfolio.
