Labor and Employment Associate
The candidate should preferably have 5+ years of experience. Must have a strong academic background and demonstrate top-notch legal research, analysis and writing abilities, including fluent working knowledge and understanding of California and federal court procedural and evidence rules. Should have strong experience working on defense of wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, or collective actions (such as discovery, witness interviews, motion practice and class certification) with partner and/or senior attorney oversight. Should also have experience working on defense of single-plaintiff employment cases with partner and/or senior attorney oversight, experience taking and defending depositions, administrative hearings, and experience presenting oral arguments at state and federal trial court hearings. Appellate experience is also preferred. California Bar is required.
