Summer Associate Program
The students will work on real cases and projects with attorneys in various practice groups. Will receive a stimulating, real-world experience to help prepare for the responsibilities of life as a practicing lawyer. This includes working alongside partners and associates, contributing to trials and participating in the structuring and negotiation of business transactions, as well as client conferences. Will also be able to attend professional development training opportunities throughout the summer. Will have the opportunity to work with at least one Summer Program Coordinator to manage work projects and provide informal feedback and guidance throughout the summer. Will also receive formal reviews twice over the course of the program and regular constructive feedback directly from the lawyers. Get to participate in specific industry and practice group events. Gain hands-on experience working with partners and associates in client conferences, negotiations, witness interviews, depositions, court hearings and trials. Second year law students will be considered. Should be in the top third of class. Law Journal of Moot Court is preferred.

Program Time and Duration: Typically the Monday before Memorial Day through July - for 10 weeks - dependent on school schedule
