DISYS is seeking an entry level Data Modeller to join our clients Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Defense business, in our National Security Global Business, is currently seeking persons with software development expertise, mathematical and statistical skills, and knowledge of physical phenomena. The Hazard Modeling Team within CBRNE Defense provides its customers with software-based products that perform technical analyses and predictive modeling to inform their preparedness and response planning efforts to mitigate risk to the United States or their company. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to make this Nation and the employers clients better prepared and safer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform model development and data analysis activities concerning inhalation, ingestion, dermal, and radiation exposure hazards, response to CBRNE events, and decision support.
Perform rigorous mathematical and statistical analysis on large data sets.
Develop object-oriented code in a multi-developer, multi-branched code repository environment.
Design and develop graphical user interfaces for predictive mathematical models. Model testing for accuracy and performance.
Development of knowledge management (e.g. database) and collaboration applications
Model input data collection, reduction, processing, and presentation.
Creation of software development artifacts, technical presentations, and written reports.
