This role provides solutions to accept and process payment data for all channels including Retail Stores and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. dotcom across the US and Canada. This role will work within the product model, collaborating with the product team(s) to develop solutions that consistently deliver working software of incremental business value for our strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities of the Digital Engineer II:
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle – Architecture, Design/Build, Deploy, DevOps

Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability around payment systems
Provide technology analysis and thought leadership in the Financial Services Technology area and apply knowledge of IT systems engineering management to implement the solutions identified
Embrace **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Cloud strategy and drive those initiatives to modernize the technology stack in Financial Services capability
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on standards and guidelines and the implementation patterns to be followed
Advocate for automation strategies and ensure teams adhere to standards when developing high-quality software

Minimum Qualifications:
6 or more years of professional experience in software development
4 or more years of experience in designing and developing web services using C#, .Net framework, WCF, .Net Core, Web Sockets, REST, etc.
2 or more years of experience in an Agile-based development methodology
1 or more years of experience in building Cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure or GCP
2 or more years of experience providing coaching, work direction, and/or mentoring to a development team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with modern front-end libraries/frameworks such as ReactJS, NodeJS, or other JavaScript frameworks
Experience with NoSQL as well as relational databases
Experience in Retail payments solutions and technologies
Experience in CI/CD process leveraging Azure DevOps
Experience with Mobile Application development using React Native for Android and/or iOS
Experience in developing solutions around payment peripheral devices like Ingenico, Verifone
Designing and developing complex technical solutions at scale
Experience using version control systems such as Git via Azure DevOps
Demonstrated ability to interact/influence within small and large groups as well as with executives
