Description

The Dr. Call Phones Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity and provides resolution for prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request.

Responsibilities

In this job you will:

Take Inbound Calls:


Take inbound calls from physician's offices, pharmacies and from members
Calls can be for new prescriptions, clarifications or general questions about prescription processing


Make Outbound Calls:


To physician offices to follow up on needed clarifications and new prescription requests
To pharmacies requesting transfers


Required Qualifications


Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license from the Arizona Board of Pharmacy
Must be able to become certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician in Training OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
Excellent communication skills
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
High School diploma or GED
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Home Office : a dedicated secure home workspace, and high-speed internet (minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m) Preferred Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare Additional Information We Offer:
