OSHA Associate
The candidate will be responsible for: Support, collaborate and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety and health compliance requirements. Provide EH&S specialist advice and subject matter expertise for California (Cal/OSHA) and US portfolio of clients. Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues and create programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training, policies and processes. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies, defend our practices within appropriate boundaries, and work to influence policy development. Handle all aspects of litigation relating to matters regarding workplace safety and discrimination matters per OSHA regulations. Represent clients in negotiations and mediations. Provide crisis management to clients dealing with workplace safety and health matters. Must have J.D. from an ABA accredited law school, with exceptional academic credentials. Should have 5+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience. Class action or public sector experience a plus. California Bar Admission with "active" status required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
