Director of Regulatory Compliance

Responsibilities: Develops and implements policies and best practices to ensure compliance with all federal, state and regional higher education laws, regulations and policies. Accountable for the University’s adherence to standards set forth by the Department of Education. Formulates and communicates compliance strategies, goals and objectives to identify and mitigate risk and implement corrective action plans, as necessary, to resolve issues. Collaborates with administrative and academic leadership teams to provide guidance on matters of regulatory compliance throughout all areas of the University. Continuously monitors and provides updates to all departments on new and existing federal, state and regional higher education laws, regulations and policies, as well as industry best practices and trends. Serves as resource to all departments who have questions relating to federal, state and regional higher education laws, regulations and policies. Conducts internal reviews as compliance questions arise. Assists in the coordination and interaction between the University and relevant federal, state and regional regulatory agencies.
