We are looking for a Sr. UI Engineer to join our Performance Brands & Partners team in our Santa Monica office. 
A big vision calls for a big job.  As we grow, our need for a Sr. UI Engineer grows with us.
You’ll Report To: Sr. Director, Software Engineering
A typical day as a Sr. UI Engineer might include:
Leading UI development on engaging, heavily-trafficked sites we own or operate with partners like USA Today, LegalSoom, and SFGate.
Eventually having ownership of our content platform: flask, nginx, Akamai, Elasticsearch, redis, mongoDB.
You’ll be successful if you are good with UI and JavaScript, but want more and you’re interested in becoming a full stack engineer. Help us, help you.
What You Have:
Strong desire to make the Internet better
UI savvy (Responsive Design, CSS, JavaScript, Templates)
Poetically elegant with your template organization (Jinja)
You read a good book now and then
Desire to proficiently use Python
Desire to productively use a UNIX environment
Desire to learn daily
A strong aversion to repetitive tasks and boredom
Excellent verbal and written communication
Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large
