Description

The Informaticist 2 coordinates with other analytics, IT and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from knowledge SMEs. The Informaticist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

This opening will support the Humana Pharmacy Solutions Rebate's function. This role will develop dashboards and ad hoc reporting that aid in developing Humana's formulary strategy for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial drug plans. These dashboards aid Humana in maximizing pharmacy savings that then pass onto the member in the form of lower premium or enhanced benefits.

A successful candidate will have experience creating dashboards and collaborating with team members to work towards a common deliverable. This position will regularly have the opportunity to present analysis and expectations to senior leadership and will develop into a trusted source of knowledge on pharmacy claims.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in relevant area
At least 1 year of experience in forecasting and analysis
Coding Experience (Examples: SQL, SAS, R, Python, etc.)
Experience with Excel
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with data visualization software (Preferably Power BI)
Experience communicating results to a non-data oriented audience
Health insurance experience
Pharmacy claims experience
