Associate Software Developer

This position is responsible for performing support, development, and quality activities under the supervision of engagement leaders. We are hiring both entry level Software Developers and QA/Testing professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop intermediate to advanced code for new and existing applications according to provided specifications. - Coordinate work with team members and leaders. - Debug and repair intermediate to advanced defects. - Participate in creation of detailed work estimates and work plan. - Participate in creation of detailed design specifications. - Perform basic design and code reviews. - Completing work assignments in a timely and accurate fashion.
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participating in Lunch and Learn sessions. - Participate in the recruiting process. - Provide production support for intermediate to advanced incidents. - Work towards and meet established deadlines.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or higher in computer or business related major (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, etc). - 1-2 years of related job experience. - Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven technical knowledge and skills in: - Object Oriented Programming - HTML and XML - Web-based application development - Windows-based application development - Windows operating system - Microsoft Office suite - At least one .Net programming language (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET) - XML, XSLT, XPATH, Regular Expressions and other-non-Microsoft specific formats - At least one Windows DNA programming language (Visual Basic, C , ASP) - At least one version of Microsoft SQL Server - Microsoft Internet Information Server - Ability to learn and adapt to fast-paced results oriented environment. - Ability to maintain focus on assigned activities. - Solid communication skills to effectively work with team members, leaders and customers. - Demonstrated basic organizational skills. - Ability to build and sustain strong relationships.
