Job Title: Sr Java Backend Developer with JVM, Scala Programming experience
Locaiton: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to develop and support tools and services used to support modern web services. The candidate will excel in developing distributed systems built on a concurrency platform; have experience integrating enterprise systems with modern paradigms; and designing persistence models for NoSQL databases
Key Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of industry experience
• Experience separating concerns in an distributed system
• Ability to design scalable systems across a polyglot environment
• An understanding of domain modeling and fluent interfaces
• Experience applying design patterns in concurrency scenarios
• Language Proficiency in
Java and Scala
- JavaScript
is a bonus
• Familiarity with Web technologies (
HTML, CSS, DOM
, JavaScript, SVG) and web standards (HTML5)
• Detailed knowledge and experience in
polyglot development
on the JVM
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Proven experience in designing persistence models for caching operations using NoSQL
• Familiarity with stress testing tools such as
JMeter
Vertex frameworks experience
is preferred
