Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract judgment you already have.
The AI systems that are changing contract work are trained and tested by real attorneys. The teams building them need contract attorneys who can create realistic negotiation and redlining exercises, judge whether the AI's responses are accurate and legally sound, write the answer a careful legal professional would give, and explain where the reasoning or risk analysis falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI tools for legal work. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you'll do
• Perform mock negotiations and redlining on technology contracts, set up as realistic exercises
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and check the accuracy, the risk analysis and the legal reasoning
• Create clear grading criteria and evaluation frameworks that measure AI performance on contract work
• Improve the guidelines, review data and best practices behind AI tools for contracts
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $90–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most contract attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping contract review and legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• At least three years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions
• Direct negotiation experience with master services agreements, nondisclosure agreements and data processing agreements
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation and redlining skills, with clear written and spoken English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Under 20 hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
