**Providence is calling a Physical Therapist Inpatient (Physical Therapy, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. **In this position you will:**
Continue to assess changes in patient/client status and modifies care plan appropriately to meet goals
Develop objective goals and a plan of care
Follow patient/client care through to completion, including identifying and planning for discharge needs and recommendations for further care
Gather pertinent information from the medical record and by interviewing patient/client and/or appropriate family members
Implement the plan of care while assuring patient privacy, safety, and comfort
Report change of status information to the nurse and/or physician
Teach appropriate and safe therapeutic/rehabilitation information for improving patient outcomes
Use appropriate assessment tools in order to determine the appropriate level of care for patients/clients
Contribute positively to budgetary and staffing needs by flexing hours and schedule
Market to and educates physicians and other health care members about Rehabilitation Services
Document daily care in an organized manner, including patient/family and staff education, and the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care
Document patient/client and appropriate family members inclusion with goal setting and treatment plan
Patient files are organized, filed, and can be found when needed
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position includes:**
Education to qualify for Physical Therapist licensure
Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Montana
FIM required if working with patients in Inpatient Rehab
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or
Military Training Network (MTN) (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
One (1) year of experience as Physical Therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field
