Responsibilities:
Create and maintain software solutions
Design and develop web products, SOA based infrastructure, and Reporting solutions that are large scale, high volume, and scalable infrastructural solutions
Create and maintain design artifacts and documentation
Assist in assessing project risks associated with development activities
Skills:
Experience in the design and development of Web products, SOA based infrastructure, and Reporting solutions that are large scale, high volume, and scalable infrastructural solutions Experience in executing a software implementation plan
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis & Design principles
Technical Requirements (with
some or all
of the following):
Experience of building web services and infrastructural solutions using Java frameworks
Experience in using Hibernate, Spring, Jersey, JPA Experience in front-end web development using JSP, JSTL, Servlets, HTML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON and Javascript SQL
Experience across Oracle and MySQL
Understanding of SOAP and REST web services
Understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
Demonstrated understanding of backend services and environments (Unix, Apache, Tomcat, FTP and server architecture)
Experience with performance and optimization standards and performance tuning following industry techniques for front end applications and infrastructure
Experience developing in a standards-based environment using version control software
Understand and have used SOAP, REST, Entity Diagrams and produced UML diagrams as part of the Design process
