Maintenance Lead - Full Time - 3rd Shift

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly. This position will also assist with the tracking of daily attendance rosters and assist with and train new hires or any team members requiring re-training. Team Member in this position serve as the liaison between the Supervisor and Team Members, to ensure all directions given by the Supervisor are understood and carried out in a timely manner and will communicate all issues of quality to the Supervisor. In addition, this position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and completing preventative maintenance on different areas of the plant; Ensuring maintenance team members respond to calls as these calls are received by going to the area where they are needed. Maintenance Generalist Lead is also responsible for overseeing all the Maintenance activity to ensure that all production matters are handled as fast, effective, and efficient as possible; Ensuring that all calls on the radio for maintenance are being answered in a timely manner; Making sure all equipment is in good working condition and setup for production to start on time; Making sure all PM’s are done correctly and in a timely manner; Communicating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance team members in a constructive manner to ensure all direction given by the Supervisor is being understood and followed; Working with other Maintenance team members on different projects as needed to assure its completion. The Maintenance Lead will be a part of the HAZMAT team and will assist the Supervisor as needed. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are needed in this position to read instruction manuals and communicate instructions for repairs/installations, and to effectively communicate any issues/problems to the Supervisor. Team member in this position must be able to work in a fast pace environment, be able to stand and walk for duration of the shift and be able and willing to work on elevated platforms, lift up to 50 lbs., and lift equipment up to 30 feet above ground level.
