The Opportunity Delaware North Gaming is searching for a Cleaner to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Cleaner, you will help create a great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.Responsibilities nThoroughly cleans areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures.nEmpties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.nReplenishes supplies in restrooms per housekeeping procedures.nConducts walk-arounds of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards.nInteracts on occasion with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms. Assists guest as needed.nReports maintenance repair problems to Supervisor.nEnsures all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.nEnsures sanitation guidelines are maintained.nEnsures all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized.nPerforms other duties as assigned.nQualifications nMust be at least 21 years of age.nLimited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.nWorking knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.nAbility to work quickly under pressure.nAbility to follow direction and instructions.nGuest service oriented.nAbility to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.nPhysical Requirements nFrequent walking and standing for entire length of shift.nFrequent climbing of stairs.nFrequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.nUse of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washingnShift Details 2nd Shift3rd ShiftHolidaysWeekendsVariesWho We Are Southland Casino Racing, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 slot machines, live blackjack, craps and roulette tables, live greyhound racing and simulcast wagering.
