nnJob Description:  nnThe WindnService Technician performs planned and unplanned maintenance includingntroubleshooting and replacement of parts if necessary, in a safe andnprofessional manner on Wind Turbines. Detailed records and parts used must bencompleted for all work performed. Technicians report to site management andncommunicate needs and or safety issues that arise. Perform first class work onnpreventive maintenances to be completed on time and right the first time.nn nnEssential Dutiesn& Responsibilities:nn· Ability to analyze and resolve problemsnindependently and efficientlynn· Provide excellent service to ourncustomersnn· Work in stressful, dangerous situations,nand participate in the development of new fieldnnprocedures and bestnpracticesnn· Actively work on wind power projectsnn· Flexible travel schedules up to 25%ntravelnn· Complete and maintain required andnaccurate documentation and recordsnn· Flexibility to work outside plannednhours, including nights and weekends as needed and on-callnn· Work in varying temperature conditions,nand adverse weather conditionsnn nnRequirements:nnPhysically and mentally ablen to work suspended from heights and in confined spacesClimb Wind towers (up to 300n feet) multiple times and at times without climbing aids or liftsWilling to travel up to 25%High school diploma orn equivalentMust meet body weightn restrictions of 265 lbs. or less as required by the equipmentn safety regulationsMust pass a physicaln administered by a medical examiner to ensure ability to safely performn the job functions and meet the physical demands of the positionMust have clean drivingn record and pass pre-hire drug screeningQualified Applicants must be legallyn authorized for employment in the United States.
