Associate Director and Deputy Title IX Coordinator
The candidate manages the daily responsibilities asociated with responding to Title IX issues related to the student sexual misconduct investigation and adjudication process at the agency. The position will serve as a Deputy Title IX ccordinator and approaches these issues from a civil rights perspective. Requires extensive knowledge of Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1973, related case law/regulations/guidance, and student conduct processes. Must possess strong writing, speaking, management, supervisory and interpersonal communication skills. Requires ability to recognize and respond appropriately to confidential and sensitive matters. Position helps mitigate university risk by ensuring fair, equitable, and timely compliance with Title IX. Master’s degree in a related field. Significant work related experience (prefer 6+ years). Must have 3+ years of management experience. Should preferably have Doctoral degree in Law/Juris Doctor.
