You will work asnpart of a team to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly andnmeet customer expectations. You will be expected to follow and promote allnsafety and quality directives in support of Siemens commitment to be then“Industry’s Premier Service Provider”.  What are your responsibilities?n Ability to perform set-up and operate a variety ofn welding machines and heat treat equipment.n Perform SMAW, GTAW, and PTAW type welding on variety ofn sized components.n Understand weld symbols identified on blueprintsn and use various measuring instrumentsn to verify conformance ofn work pieces to specifications required by blueprints, specifications orn procedures. n Record welding log and maintain welding records.n Interpret and execute Preheat and PWHT procedures andn instructions.n Use various measuring instruments to verifyn conformance of work pieces ton specifications required byn blueprints, specifications or procedures.n Maintain all welding department associated equipment inn a safe and reliable manner.n Operation of overhead cranes, forklift and other shopn equipment.n Assist all product lines in disassembly, clean,n inspection, repair and assembly on various Siemens Rotating Equipmentn Interact with other production employees, engineering,n and management in the execution of day to day job tasks.n Promote and execute compliance with all safety andn quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.n Perform all general shop tasks assigned by supervisorn or any other duties assigned by management.n This position is performed in a shop environment. Then weld shop area is subject to extreme dust, noise, and temperature. Propern PPE is always to be worn.nWhat do you need tonqualify for this role?n Three (3) year experience as a qualified/certifiedn welder of rotating equipment and associated components.n SMAW, GTAW weld certificationsn High school diploma or GED equivalentn Previous experience with the operation of overheadn cranes and forklifts.n Possess the ability to clearly, professionally, andn effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkersnQualified applicantsnmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
