The candidate must have: PhD or DBA in Accounting from an AACSB accredited school. A JD Degree /LLM with a Graduate Degree in Accounting, or JD/LLM plus CPA, or Graduate Degree in Taxation may also be considered. Ability to write and publish in professional or academic journals. Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in financial accounting. Interest in developing and teaching online (web-based) courses Applicant must meet AACSB standards for scholarship as “Academically Qualified (AQ)” or “Scholarly Academic (SA)”. Preferred: Record of publishing in academic or professional journals Professional or managerial experience. Experience developing and teaching online (web-based) courses. Teaching experience in graduate and undergraduate courses in financial accounting and at least one additional area (tax or business law). Knowledge of AACSB accreditation requirements.
