Transfer content from old site (shopify) to new site (wordpress) upgrade design.
Hi,
i run small private onsite ART classes & I have an art website. (so visuals are important)
I would like to transfer from old shopify website to a new wordpress one with a new look.
The person who works with me, will probably have a brilliant portfolio to show for at the end.
(reasons under STYLE & DESIGN)
The new one has already been started, the content, i believe, have all been transferred.
Some pages are already part completed, just need slight changes here and there.
STYLE & DESIGN
I have quite a particular standard for visuals so you need to be open to creativity and hv some of that in you.
i need someone to organise & beautify the content to look a certain way.
Similar to HOME page on the new website.
Style we like is: retro, eclectic, vintage, bohemian type look.
You need to be familiar with that.
I also need some motion (not sure the correct computer term) on a couple of pages to make it more interesting.
Because the design visuals is important, I need to be in working in close contact with you as we go along.
You need to be ok with that.
Theres no need for ecommerce.
EMAIL
I was using godaddy for email - i wish to change to another platform as godaddy is not working well.
RESPONSIVE
I need it to be responsive to phones, tablet and computer as at the moment, parallax is not working well.
SEO
I also need you to have knowledge of SEO – whatever needs to be done there to make sure the website is seen. (Address to keep the old one after new website is done)
I also need to be able to easily edit photos and wordings myself after the job is done and guidance initially on how to do that.
DATE OF COMPLETION
You need to update me and keep to datelines as we progress. I don’t need you to rush but keeping to datelines is important.
I had to release the last web guy because he took 8 months and hardly completed one page.
Can anyone help with that?
