Home Care Assistance is urgently hiring caregivers for multiple part-time, full-time and live-in opportunities to serve our amazing senior clients in the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, including: Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties. Our caregivers are matched to clients to provide non-medical, in-home care. In-home care differs from facility-based care in that the client stays in their own home with the assistance of caregivers like you. You will work one-on-one with the client, to enhance their quality of life using our proprietary Balanced Care Method, a holistic approach to care.

Responsibilities (based on client needs) include:
Assist the client with daily living activities, including: Bathing, Grooming, Medication Reminders, Ambulation, Transferring, Meal Preparation, Shopping, Appointments, and Light Housekeeping.
Provide gait assistance and/or transfers (Hoyer) depending on client’s individual needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
COVID-19 considerations:
Both caregivers and clients are health screened. Sanitizing and protective equipment provided where required.
Job Requirements
Experience:
We are hiring self-motivated individuals with a minimum of 1-year experience working with seniors in personal care (or other related field) - CNA or HHA certificate a PLUS.
Skills:
We are hiring compassionate, trustworthy and service-minded individuals. The successful candidate should be experienced in cooking, cleaning and caring for seniors, and be skilled with client transfers and gait assistance.
Required documents:
Current 2-step PPD, Quentiferon blood test or Chest X-Ray.
Valid PA driver's license and current car insurance.
Minimum of 3-professional references, and able to pass a background check.
