Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong leadership capabilities to join our team! We are seeking PMP certified Project Managers to manage and drive information system design projects throughout the software development life cycle to included planning, design and implementation for large to mid-size software implantations and transformations and IT process improvement projects.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Project Manager you will utilize your expertise with information systems and development methodologies such as SDLC and Waterfall to guide systems through the development cycle. You will determine needs, expectations and priorities so project scope and requirements can be defined. You will then develop project pans and estimates and provide critical path of the project. All project managers will be required to have PPM Tool (Project Profile Management) and extensive experience developing Executive level dashboard reports.
Day to day activities will be:
• Monitoring execution of deliverables
• Assisting project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues
• Communicating with stakeholders, team members and other project managers on project status, including progress, risk and any issues that may have an impact on project delivery
• Manage client expectations
• Ensuring that project team is adhering to all standards and processes as defined by the client
• Prioritizing issue for resolution and hold or escalation
• Utilizing development methodologies such as SDLC and Waterfall to facilitate project fulfillment and delivery Required Skills and Competencies:
• 10 plus years of Project Management
• PMP - Active certification
• Strong Dashboard experience
• PPM Tool (Project Profile Management)
• Experience working in the following technology: PeopleSoft, Java, Unix, Windows, Unify, FIS Express
• Bachelor’s degree
