Health Insurance Analyst

Profile

We are currently looking for an Analyst to work at a behavioral health insurance company. This individual will be working in the reporting department and must have prior experience handling pharmaceutical and healthcare claims data. The individual who will be working in this position will be working in a PL/SQL Oracle environment and are going to be required to write specs as well as gather requirements from management teams to determine how the developer and programming teams can better improve their systems. You will have the opportunity to work on both finance, clinical and quality assurance applications and data.The individual will also be gathering and processing of data relative to the applications they are working with. This is a full time and permanent position that offers competative benefits and 4 weeks of vacation.
Requirements:
3 years of experience working in a Oracle environment
3 years’ experience as an Analyst at a health insurance company or dealing with health insurance claims data
Analyst who has experience working directly face to face with clients and managers in gathering requirements and writing specs
