This role will define all of the infrastructure (OSS/BSS) and E2E operational process-related requirements for new products launches and product enhancements.Deep understanding of industry best practices in product development process specific to the Cable and or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position. Collaborative information gathering to translate high level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation. Develop communication plan for stakeholders and process participants.This position will lead the development and communication of Product Strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results. Work with engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing new product launches as per the product roadmap strategy. Leading content and product launches and enhancements working with Engineering, Marketing and other cross functional teams.Key Responsibilities:This Leader will direct the technical and operational resources to bring new products to market and manage the Product Development lifecycle for all Managed and Hosting Services product portfolio including NFV, IaaS, DaaS, PaaS, SaaS, SD-WAN, Public and Private Cloud applications etc. Other responsibilities include:Authoring the PRDs (Product Requirements Documents)Overseeing development from concept to launchCertifying products developed in partnership with Engineering, IT and other cross functional teams and managing the entire launch processOperating new product trialsEvaluate third-party technology suppliersAdditionally, this role will lead all Technical Project Planning and Execution related to the product roadmap: The ability to define objectives, assessing the technical suitability of the available resources, changing them where necessary, identifying milestones and Key Performance Indicators, assessing and moving to counter risks and evaluating progress.Define system requirements for, and manage implementation of:New Product Launches and Product EnhancementsPricing updatesNew CPEProduct and Pricing PromotionsICB projectsProduct/billing standardizationEducation: MBA preferred. Additional technical degree related to the telecommunications field or operational/process optimization is preferred.
