As an Infrastructure Engineer you will provide enterprise clients technical implementation and successful execution of infrastructure solutions and related technologies. Additionally the engineer will perform IT infrastructure assessments, recommend solutions, and design solution architectures. He or she will be expected to attend training and ongoing learning in order to maintain status as a subject matter expert. As a member of a solutions team you'll be expected to implement high-quality technical solutions based on industry best-practices and complex business and technical requirements. Ideal candidates will provide high quality of services for our clients, develop and maintain excellent relationships and maintain a proven track record of success.
Design, document and implement at an enterprise-scale server virtualization solutions utilizing a VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V framework.
Design, document and implement desktop and application virtualization solutions using the Microsoft VDI Suite, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and VMware View.
Design, document and implement endpoint management platforms from leading vendors, with a focus on Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager and Symantec/Altiris Client Management Suite.
Assess and document current state systems management solutions and recommend appropriate improvements.
Perform system maturity assessments and recommend appropriate improvements.
Interface with technical and business representatives.
Provide Eden Project Manager updates on assigned task status; escalating issues impacting deliverables, timeline or customer expectations.
Work with consulting vendors & partners as required.
Experience in automation and scripting: VBScript, batch, PowerShell, etc.
Experience with developing and maintaining workstation images using SCCM.
Ability to work under pressure with a willingness to learn.
Excellent technologist with broad understanding of the infrastructure solutions.
Industry certifications and experience with MSFT, Symantec, Landesk, CA and related companies.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training.
