Employment Counsel
The candidate will be responsible for: Joint reporting to the VP & Associate General Counsels overseeing the employment, executive compensation, and employee benefits practices for the Americas. Provide day-to-day counseling to HR professionals and business leaders regarding compliance with employment laws and employee relations issues. Prepare and ensure continued compliance with employment policies. Oversee, advise on, and conduct internal investigations. Work with outside counsel to oversee employment litigation. Draft and advise on employment-related agreements and correspondence. Advise on the employment-related aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of businesses. Should have 4-7 years of employment law experience, ideally at a law firm. Must have experience counseling and advising employers on legal compliance and employee relations issues. Should have experience litigating employment lawsuits. Must have experience with drafting and reviewing employment-related documents, such as workplace policies, employment agreements and separation agreements. Should have ability to consider business needs, along with legal requirements, to act as an effective partner to the businesses under the Endeavor umbrella.
