Duties: Review and investigate claims of factual innocence with the School of Law students and IJP staff to determine whether DNA analysis might prove factual innocence of the applicant. Supervise law students in the research and investigation of claims of factual innocence. Work with Project volunteers n Project cases and activities. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Will be responsible for supervising and working with second- and third-year law students in reviewing and investigating claims of factual innocence. Work with the students and Research Professor in researching and drafting petitions for DNA testing of biological evidence that could have exonerative value in proving innocence. Will also perform reviews and investigations of some cases with the Research Professor and Paralegal, independent of the other cases assigned to students.
