Located in Santa Monica, CA.
Our Content Solutions Business ranges from comprehensive content strategy and the creation of original content (articles, videos, original photography, micro-content, social content, infographics, etc.) to the development of custom, fully managed web experiences and distribution through a preferred network.
We are seeking a Designer with a strong visual eye and experience designing UI and marketing collateral. This position will be responsible for supporting the growing design needs of the Content Solutions marketing product teams and content teams. We are looking for a passionate creative, who will thrive in a supportive, collaborative, yet fast-paced interactive environment.
Responsibilities
Create and implement UI design on projects like landing pages, email blasts, Web templates and banner ads.
Design printed collateral, signage and giveaways for events.
Support marketing team’s visual and branding needs.
Work under the direction of Design Manager, VP of Marketing and Visual Content Sr. Director.
Work closely and collaboratively with larger marketing team, product team and design team.
Give and solicit open and honest feedback as part of the design process.
Requirements:
Experience at advertising agency, top brand or digital publisher.
Design skills: You can conceptualize and offer design solutions while following creative direction or style guides. You are a quick learner and can design signage with provided direction even if you don’t have signage experience. You have an understanding of how to maintain brand consistency.
Technical skills: You can execute your design ideas using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on a Mac, with attention to detail, and you have a solid grasp of the technical requirements for web design.
People skills: You’re able to collaborate with and share design concepts to marketing specialists, VPs, designers and directors.
BA or BFA in Graphic Design or professional equivalent
2-3 years designing for Web and print collateral
Portfolio featuring relevant design projects with good sense of typography and graphics
Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
You MUST be available for work on-site in Santa Monica.
