Sapient Industries ([login to view URL]) is a hardware/software company that is seeking to grow beyond the US and build its own hardware with international compatibility. In order to do that, we have to work closely with Chinese manufacturers in a business and engineering capacity— modifying designs, negotiating prices, and discussing the technical details of our electronic product. We need a translator present for our calls with their team members, as well as someone capable of translating our documentation and email correspondence into and out of Chinese in order to ensure quality communication.
