The candidate will be challenged with adding professional expertise to instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives. Provide timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent. Should have Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in any field. Must have Substantive, verifiable experience (within the last 5 years) in a P-12 school system to include 2 years of experience with school policy and law, legal, and ethical issues as a principal, assistant principal, superintendent, assistant superintendent, district level director, or state official with administrative background. Must have 5 years experience in a related field. Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution in any field is preferred. Should have 6 transcripted credits of coursework in school policy and law, legal and ethical issues, or foundations of education. Current P-12 certification in one or more of the following areas are needed: Education administration, principal, assistant principal, superintendent, assistant superintendent, or current member of the bar with a specialization in educational law. Must have ability to utilize classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and Microsoft Office software. Experience desired: 5-7 years substantive, verifiable experience (a portion of which must be within the last 5 years) in a P-12 school system to include a minimum of 2 years of experience with school policy and law, legal, and ethical issues as a principal, assistant principal, superintendent, assistant superintendent, district level director, or state official with administrative background. Must have demonstrated expertise through related professional presentations or publications, and scholarship.
