Looking for an experienced full-stack, e-commerce developer or team that will help us build a single-product-multiple-vendor marketplace similar to Swappa or StockX.
Hi,
As stated in the title, I am looking to build a website similar to Swappa or Stockx for a niche community.
I have started building this website using Wordpress, Woocommerce, Dokan, and the martfury theme but have found that custom coding is required to make some of the features that we need. It would be great to stick with this tech stack as I am familiar with it, however, I am open to switching to a different tech stack if it will work better for this project.
Some of the custom features that we need includes:
-The ability for the admin to make a single product page that sellers can post their listings on.
- Full control of seller capabilities, product listings, and other marketplace settings.
- A custom bidding system for seller listings.
- Ability for users to message each other after the transaction is made.
-Ability for buyers to follow a certain item or seller and receive notifications when a new listing is made.
-Ability to add a global buyer fee that will be included in the shown listing price.
Other general features we need includes:
- Full admin CMS integration that allows us to create new product pages, manage sellers, create blog posts, etc.
- User Profiles that include an optional bio, current listings, ratings and reviews, sales history.
- Live search bar as well as strong filtering and tagging options.
- The ability for people to list services as well as products.
- Paypal and Stripe Integration
- A verification system for sellers upon registration.
- A review system that allows buyers to rate and review the sellers.
