Oracle Applications DBA

Profile

We are looking to find
a new member of our Applications ** DBA Team.
This position will also be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams within company and various business units and will become an integral
member of the current DBA

Team.
Areas of responsibilities will include managing our current development and production database and environments.
This position will also include managing our current SAP Business Objects, DAC and Informatica environments.
This is an opportunity to work in a self-motivated dynamic environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Experience working with a dynamic DBA Team and Data Warehouse Team.
Excellent collaborations and communication skills.
Managing Oracle Databases, Active Data Guard and
Standby environments
Managing and administering
SAP Business Objects environments
Managing and administering Informatica/DBA Power Center environments





Required Skills & Experience:
DBA Required Skills
Maintenance and monitoring of the Oracle 11g
Databases and Standbys
Support production support roun
RMAN related experience (backup, recovery, cloning & monitoring).
Migrating database code to production

d the clock as required.
Working with oracle support for production issues.
Applying Security patches to the database system.
Working experience with 11g/12c Grid
SOX audit process
Strong shell scripting skills.
Must be able to work individually or in the team.
Must have extremely good problem resolution skills.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability grow their own skills.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, applications users and other technical groups.
Data Warehouse Required Skills
Business Objects Server Administration / ETL Development Lead Architect
Experience installing, supporting and/or troubleshooting SAP Business
Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 or 4.0
Experience with bash shelling scripting,
Experience SAP Business Objects application server administration,
configuration, and software installations
SAP Business Objects Data Services Job Server
SAP Business Objects Central Management Console, ETL job scheduling
SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 or 4.0 Designer data store definitions and
connectivity to MySQL, Oracle
DAC/Informatica Server Administration
Ability to design containers and combined ETL execution plans inside Data
Warehouse Administration Console to perform full and incremental loads from
various ERP systems such as
Ability to perform Informatica Power Center installations & configurations
Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting of Informatica workflow failures, advanced data quality validation skills
Ability to administer Informatica Power Center 9.0.1 64bit on RHEL Linux
