Legal Assistant
The candidate under general supervision, performs various legal assistant duties involving post-conviction relief matters. Prepares and processes legal documents; proofreads all correspondence and prepared documents; and scans and redacts legal documents. Maintains and monitors the record system for assigned attorney(s); maintains a calendar of filing deadlines; and composes and prepares replies to routine correspondence. Assists with telephone receptionist duties for the post-conviction relief section. Also assists with various other legal assistant duties upon request.
