Import and Export Controls Compliance Officer
The candidate will report to the University's Chief Compliance Officer. Will serve as the principal administrative official of University with regard to matters related to US and International Export and Import Control laws and Trade Sanction regulations (Export Compliance). Consult with University faculty to address potential or actual export compliance issues, e.g., whether a particular research activity is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or other applicable international trade regulation regimes. Have a close working relationship with the University Office of General Counsel and key administrative offices, including the Office of Sponsored Programs, Sponsored Programs Administration, Procurement and Logistics.
