POSITION
LendingTree is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a small team of data and BI engineers on our Customer 360 (C360) team. We have an exciting opportunity to develop and scale a home grown C360 data service platform that powers CRM customer journeys across multiple touchpoints leveraging several MarTech (Marketing Technology) platforms. This engineer will be passionate about data engineering and building steaming pipelines, will be a big picture thinker, and will work with partners across Marketing, Product, Data Science, Analytics, Contact Center and Technology teams to deliver on enterprise initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver high quality, innovative data integration solutions in a fast-paced environment
Create real-time streaming data pipelines for multiple sources and data types
Develop, and support C360 data service platform and microservice applications spanning multiple lines of business
Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Owners to implement project work you're doing
Create and maintain technical documents
Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours support
REQUIREMENTS
5 years of experience in implementing streaming data solutions using AWS stacks
Strong Experience with BigData Tools – Kafka, Nifi and Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis
Proficient in AWS technologies like AWS Glue, AWS Glue Crawler, EMR, Athena,Lambda,EC2 etc.
Ability to design, implement & support data integration projects with minimal oversight
Strong Experience with NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Couchbase, HBASE
Good Understanding and working experience with AWS Redshift and Spectrum
Experience in building and supporting serverless architecture
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Expertise in atleast 1 programming language (python, Java, Scala etc.)
Experience with building Data Lakes on S3, Snowflake etc.
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with RESTful API’s, AWS Fargate, AWS Gateway API, Lambda
Familiarity with Customer Data Platform and other MarTech platforms is a plus
Experience with Salesforce tools – Mulesoft, Marketing Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
