Home Care Aides, aka Caregivers, help individuals live independently. Caregivers assist the elderly, mentally disabled, chronically ill, physically challenged and hospice patients with activities of daily living.
Pacific Coast Homecare has a solid brand and reputation, serving Ventura County, The San Fernando Valley, and Northwest LA County for over 10 years. We are growing and need to add more caregivers to our team.
We can help you become a CNA. We provide **** Hour shifts *
Qualifications:
· Must have a HCA License (We will help you get your HCA License if you don't have it)
· Caregiving or companion experience a plus
· Able to work independently with client direction
· Strong attention to detail
· Patience, compassion & understanding
· Clear communication skills - verbal and written
· Have a working dependable car with up-to-date car insurance
· Active driver’s license
· Knowledge of colostomy bag changes
· Able to handle early onset hospice care
· Understanding of memory care a plus
· Able to assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, escorting and incontinence care.
· Able to do light house keeping, cooking and provide medication reminders
* CNA in training a plus *
* Nursing student a plus *
Job Requirements
Will need to provide:
*Current TB test (negative result)
*Pass a Drug Screening
*Legal to work in USA
