RN for Pulmonary/Infectious Disease Acute Care Unit - 6 Bedtower
 
*36 hours/week with Day/Night and weekend rotation, 12-hour shifts.  Self-scheduling is used to meet the needs of the unit and the staff. *As a State employee, this position offers State benefits including health insurance options, retirement plans and a generous PTO package (accrual up to 230 hours/year.)   
 
RN needed for a 31-bed medicine floor that provides quality acute care for patients with pulmonary and infectious diseases. 6 Bed Tower is equipped with dual channel telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry and cares for patients who are HIV positive, those who have respiratory diseases, and adults with cystic fibrosis.  Telemetry and IV experience preferred but not required.

Requires graduation for a state-accredited school of professional nursing and at least one year of nursing (RN) experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing and have a current Healthcare Provider BLS certification. 
 
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
