The candidate plans, directs, and coordinates fundraising activities and provides strategic planning for all major and planned gift activities. Activities will consist primarily of seeking major and planned gifts from individuals. This position oversees adherence to the Moves Management process including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for the development staff. Lead efforts to obtain substantial mid-and high-level funding ($50, 000+) in support of identified fundraising priorities and campaigns, event sponsorships and planned gifts. Oversee, enhance and coordinate the Moves Management system for Institutional Advancement. Develop, manage, solicit and steward a portfolio of at least 75 prospects and donors to raise at a minimum of $500,000 annually for event sponsorships, individual giving or planned gifts. Work with Assistant Vice President to develop short and long-term goals and objectives for Development staff. Design specific fundraising campaigns in partnership with the Assistant Vice President that align with the College's long-range strategic plan and annual priorities. Build relationships with faculty to encourage buy-in to institutional Advancement goals and assist in presenting the College's philanthropic needs to prospective donors. Build relationships with prospective donors and volunteers to support College programs and priorities. Oversee and ensure timely correspondence and maintenance of files for Development team in order to keep donors and other informed. Foundation work as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
