Positions in this function is responsible for transforming new clients to Optums Global Operating Model (OGOM) by serving as a change agent for the middle revenue cycle Transformation team. This role will lead key initiatives in transformation to deliver performance excellence through standardization of processes and focus primarily on ensuring best practices are implemented and stabilized. This position is key in implementation of change, consistently improving the patient, employee, and client experience. This position is a critical member of the Optum360 Transformation team. This position must maintain strong client relationships and represent Optum360 in all aspects of its values.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leads new client onboarding and transformation by utilizing a diverse group of resources (people, process, and technology) to integrate new clients into the standard OGOM
Leads the PMO/PM discipline for technology implementations related to CDI
Establish the standard CDI methodology to measure productivity, efficiency, scalability, human touch volume, and workflow
Leads new client to strengthen CDI governance
Leads analytics efforts to build and deliver multiple performance metrics
TOPS implementation and ongoing maintenance
Institutionalizes the best practices and standard processes of the OGOM. Critical in training operations on the use of the OGOM levers and ensuring new client transformations aligns directly to the GOM
Drives CDI quality assurance program by measuring adherence to OGOM processes
Change champion
Collaborate and align with operational partners to drive OGOM and change
Partner across organization to drive transformation via engagement in assessment of people, process, and technology
Adopt A3 problem solving methodology and implement all modules of TOPS program
Collaborate and share with operational leadership

Required Qualifications:
BSN RN or Foreign Medical graduate
CCDS or CDIP Certification
3 years of multi-system CDI experience in an acute care facility setting
2 years of leadership experience
Experience with CDI technologies and EMR CDI workflow
Expertise in CDI, coding, and clinical medicine to serve as a subject matter expert for CDI program
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel nationwide 25-50% of the time, based on client need
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working collaboratively with HIM/Coding departments in partnership to improve reimbursement accuracy
Experience leading large complex projects and/or implementations
Proven record of managing successful CDI programs with proven metrics and value add to the organization

The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
