Title: FSQA Technician – Full Time – Sanford, NC 27332
We are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for all new hires. We have open positions for third shift.

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
This position is responsible for entering hourly product checks into plant viewt. This position is also responsible for reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead. This position is also required to fill out various log sheets. This position is required to follow all Tyson safety rules. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors. This position also may be exposed to airborne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. If the applicant is not contacted in the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again in the next month to be considered.
To qualify Team Member must be a full-time Team Member and have completed probationary period. If a full time Team Member is not selected, then probationary period Team Members will be considered for the position. If you appear to have the necessary qualifications and are interested in bidding on this position, you must do so in Workday before the position closes. DISCRETIONARY JOBS are awarded to the best candidate based on qualifications to include work history, attendance, and position requirements. Must not have received a warning in the last three months or a warning with suspension or demoted themselves within the last (6) months. No more than (3.0) attendance points listed at the time of the job bid ending date. Successful bidders may not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.

REQUIREMENTS :
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industryrequired or other QA type experience.
· Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
· Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; abilityto lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problemidentification and problem-solving skills; math and organizationalskills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; mustfunction well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and whenneeded.
