My client is looking for someone who can not only find-and-pull and slice-and-dice data, but can also put that data to work. As a SQL Developer at this large software company, you will support the decision makers that drive the company's strategy and profitability by providing informative reports and performing advanced analytics, such as data mining and trend analysis.

What you get to do...
Write and optimize SQL & T-SQL scripts, including procedures, views, functions and triggers - if you're not currently a SQL black belt, you'll quickly become one
Translate marketing and sales objectives to SQL scripts and data mining initiatives
Create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services that will help our management teams assess market conditions, identify profitable opportunities, and measure the performance of their respective business areas
Extract, transform, and load data using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Scrub, integrate, and enrich data using DataFlux
Identify data quality problems and their root cause. Propose fixes and create data audits to ensure the problem is resolved
Leverage data warehouse technology to convert large amounts of data to useful information
Provide expert advice in the usage and interpretation of data for all business areas
Play a key role in defining reporting standards and metrics
What you know...
SQL, T-SQL, and relational databases
SQL Server Reporting Services 2005/2008 or similar reporting platform
ETL software and processes
Microsoft Excel
Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
You are a master of time and task
Bonus points for...
DataFlux experience
SQL Server Analysis Services experience
Bachelor degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (equivalent professional experience also considered)
