Director, Enterprise Testing, Release Mgmt & Activation
The Director, Enterprise Testing, Release Management and Activation leads the IT Testing & Release team to deliver portfolios of clinical, enterprise and experience product solutions which align to business strategic initiatives. This includes advising and guiding relationship owner functions on key stakeholder solutions to drive the long-term adoption of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. IT Products, ensuring proper product alignment to the needs of customers (i.e., patients, clinicians, and workforce), as well as the overarching product portfolio. Additional responsibilities include developing compelling business propositions to adopt standard products. This role is also accountable for product technical health, currency, enterprise scalability, innovative differentiation, and effective total cost of ownership. This role will collaborate across all areas of the product lifecycle, leading teams to develop, implement, manage, and optimize products and services driven by defined strategies and product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Develop and implement job descriptions and progressions as needed to build out this new team
• Development, communication, and governance of quarterly and monthly releases
• Coordination and governance of enterprise testing activities in conformity to the quarterly and monthly releases with metrics-based communication of testing progress and quality
• Management of enterprise system activation/cutovers for major implementations (e.g., new facilities, acquired hospitals, large physician practices, etc.) in conjunction project leadership and BRMs
• Development and operationalization of enterprise testing, release management and activation capabilities – people, process, tools, facilities - for the enterprise IT/CE organization
• Implementation of scalable testing automation capabilities with continuous advancement
• Specification and control over enterprise testing environments and configuration that are scaled up and down based on demand; optimized with right balance between on-prem and cloud
• Establishment, management and reporting of system quality metrics as measured through enterprise testing processes
• Integrate/incorporate enterprise testing, release management and activation processes into all applicable core IT processes such as Change Control
• Develop and manage enterprise test data management capabilities
• Oversee management of the platform release cycle, the test and QA process, and the delivery of world class documentation
• Oversee the analysis, design, development, release, support, and maintenance of applications, and related projects and services for all enterprise products/functions
• Oversee cutover activities for Pre-Go-Live, Go-Live, and Post-Go-Live for major enterprise application activations
• Ensure successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities and associated system outages
• Collaborate with the Help Desk/Product leadership to ensure all impacted teams, systems and stakeholders are aligned and sufficient communication and notification has occurred in advance of cut-overs.
• Collaborate with IT/CE leaders to provide leadership and guidance to teams across the organization on Epic products and process to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization
• Collaborate with IT/CE and operational leadership on ELLiE strategy and implementation
• Track and measure performance goals across all areas of responsibilities
• Collaborate with IT/CE leadership to define KPIs and incorporating qualitative and quantitative insights into day-to-day decision-making as well as strategy evolution.

Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in health/business administration, public health, health sciences, and/or information technology/engineering required.
Master's degree preferred
Experience
• Ten (10) years of progressive IT and related business work experience.
• Seven (7) years of management and leadership roles of increasing responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Material EHR and/or ERP testing, release management and/or activation experience.
• Experience managing and/or delivering complex enterprise systems in healthcare context.
• Significant depth and breadth in the business analysis and software development disciplines.
• Project management experience, including waterfall and agile.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, systems, and technologies.
