We are looking for a full-Stack javascript architect/lead for architecture, backend, frontend, DevOps for web app
Please read the tech stack below carefully. You should have worked as a full stack resource with the stack including - GraphQL, PostGresQL, Relay, React, GCP / Firebase. **
We are looking for a full stack hands-on javascript Architect/Lead developer to help our project with architecture, backend, DevOps and frontend to help us build the next major phase of our consumer web app. This is going to be a significant new development effort. We want people who have worked with startups before.
Our current tech stack. We have a web app using Google Cloud / Firebase for serverless architecture.
* React / Material-UI (front end)
* [login to view URL] and Relay for declarative data fetching and stage management
* Universal Router routing and client-side navigation optimized for Relay
* PostgreSQL database pre-configured with a query builder and migrations using [login to view URL]
* Google Cloud & Firebase for server-less architecture - Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, CDN hosting, file storage (docs)
We want someone who
> Is ok with jumping on phone call to discuss important stuff on a regular basis. This is important for us as nature of work is remote.
> Likes to mentor
> Worked with startups and knows how to develop products incrementally
> Comfortable with devops -> Has managed production site deployments and migration including build scripts, libraries etc.
> Architected apps (based on tech stack similar to ours) and is really comfortable with making /proposing architectural decisions
> Can write clean code to implement backend for features
> Can write documents to present and share architecture designs/ thoughts
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
It could really vary from day to day. But below description should give a good idea.
> Make key architectural recommendations for new functionality that team will work on (Should be comfortable discussing with product lead on the Pros and cons of the recommendations)
> Build key backend pieces of backend
> Build key frontend pieces when needed (in case frontend resource runs low)
> Setup and define best practices
> Review code from junior Developers
> Proactively manage DevOps, keeping it up to date
Our code base is clean and well maintained. And this resource should to continue to maintain it this way.

Lastly wed like someone with great collaboration/communication skills. Our team is all remote. You will be working closely with the key owner, i.e. product manager and other developers. Expected to collaborate frequently via Zoom/Slack on various aspects of product development.
